Hello to everyone who recently signed up to help out with the Amgen
Tour of California.

As most of you know, my name is Steve Boelter and I am the Santa
Barbara volunteer coordinator.  I did this last year and I think most
all of us had a great time.  This isone of the biggest, if not the
biggest race in the US and we can be proud to help make it happen.
This years race should be even better than last year.
I know it has been a while since my last communication with everyone,
and I apologize for that.  I got quite busy doing home loans there for
a while, and as the race was still a ways away, it took a back seat
for a bit.  Now as the race is getting closer look for regular
communications from me.

Any of you who have not yet signed up on the web site please do so soon.
This is the official way we need to get added to the program.

Our local organizing committee have been meeting regularly to discuss
the tour and how we will deal with it in Santa Barbara.  We have a
great venue picked out and we are adding fun events to make the day
even better.  We will have a kids race, and we are looking forward to
adding many other fun activities for race day.  As well as a great
party the night before.  I will keep you updated on all that as we
know more details.

For now I just want to say thanks for stepping up to the plate to
volunteer and I will be in touch soon.
