[DVBC] iPod or MP3 Which is Better?

Deb,

I have owned both. In a nutshell, iPod software (i Tunes) is a pain in
the ass!!! MP3 players are like using windows explorer, they work every
time you want and do not need to be licensed to one computer like
iPod's. iPods are licensed to one computer and one computer only.
MP3's can be connected to any computer that has a USB port, songs
(files) can be copied, downloaded, and shared between them as if you are
using a thumb drive. i Tunes is special software and requires a
connection to the Internet to retrieve song information and also checks
licensing.

I hope this helps, Doug

I'm thinking about getting either an iPod or MP3 for my daughter and I
don't know much about either. Which is better? What are the pros and
cons about both? The iPods seem to be more expensive. Are iPods only
sold by Apple? Any assistance to unmuddle my brain on this would be
appreciated. Thanks.
Debbie
