[DVBC] The Tour

I know they are not immuned, look at tyler Hamilton - but while they are
riding, I am going to cheer for anyone riding from the USA - with Hincapie,
Zabriskie, and Landis in 2nd 3rd, and 9th respectively it is a good start.
Team Discovery has 2 riders in the top 10 _ I think that it will be a good
tour - would be better with the favorites still in it, but I am going to
watch. I waited a year for this, I will not miss it.

You may be excited Dave, but I'm not. This is just another low point and
reason to be very suspicious of any pro cyclist. I will not be watching
this event which saddens me. And don't be naive thinking the Americans are
immune from resorting to this, also. They just haven't been caught yet.
Just my 2 cents from a very disappointed Tour watcher.

I am seeing conflicting articles about the Ansana-Wurth team - the article
from about 30 minutes ago on Yahoo says that the court of appeal ruled that
the tour organizers must allow the team to participate. So vino may ride.

If not - there is now a huge chance that an American can win again, although
tainted, it would be great for US cycling. Floyd Landis is the obvious
favorite, with Hincapie, bobby Juhlick, and dave zambiski as other strong US
riders.

Also Discovery channel has a good chance, even if Hincapie does not win
Paolo Salvadelli or eki could have good tours. I am excited.

According to the link below, Basso and Mancebo have also been suspended and
won't be taking part in the Tour. This sucks. Just for the record, I
haven't been nor have I ever taken any EPO, so I'll be starting the ToPA
tour tomorrow morning. Doug, what about you? Been' doing any EPO lately?
