[DVBC] TOPA update

    The TOPA crew have been checking in at the clubhouse periodically. They have completed three days of riding and are currenly enjoying a rainy layover day in Wellsboro. We tried to convince them that they need to get out and ride five or six hours today to work the lactic acid out of their legs but they wouldn't bite. They have done 210 incredibly hilly miles in the first three biking days. Charlie is the reigning King of the Mountains. Debbie's butt gave out (her new nickname is "Butter Butt") and she had her number ripped off her back by Jean Marie LeBlanc. 
    We are a bit concerned about drug use. Not performance-enhancing. No one who has seen them ride would accuse them of performance-enhancement. But every time we talk to them they sound high. 
    They spent most of today watching Tour replays over and over. Too bad about Valverde. And Butter Butt.
