[DVBC] ToPA

The 2006 DVBC ToPA was a complete success.  
 
As Nancy stated in her E-mail the route was about 500 miles (Charlie and
Dave have about 70 miles more) total climbing elevation was about 30,500
feet.  
 
I want to give special thanks to Dr. Michael Broennle for the time he
took in planning this trip and the flawless que sheets he created for
us. I want to thank Len Zanetich for volunteering to return Butter Butt
to her rightful position in the tour, after her visit to the bicycle
witch doctor.  We were very happy Butter Butt was able to rejoin the
tour after successful butter treatment.   
The weather gods were very kind to us this year, no rain while riding,
no hot or cold riding days and no headwinds.  I don't want to place bets
on next year.
 
I want to thank Deb, Nancy, Dave, Charlie and Mike for making the DVBC
2006 ToPA a success, the companionship, laughs and support are truly
memorable.  As Charlie told me today, I haven't laughed so much since
last ToPA.
