Well due to Charlie and I riding from our homes to the start at
Doug's house and back home at the end I had about 570 total miles and
Charlie probably had about 580.
The Silver, I mean Sly Fox, continues to amaze me. Charlie you are my
hero !!!
Nancy you rode a fantastic ToPA. Quite an improvement on last year.
Keep riding strong !!!!
Doug and Mike I can't say enough about the great job you did laying
out the route. THANKS !!!!!!
We had a great week, with great climbing, beautiful scenery, great
friends, good times, great weather, and plenty of Lager(I mean
recovery drinks).
The best part of some of the climbs was the fantastic descents on the
back side. My new record max speed was 48mph. Good thing there were
no cops or they could have ticketed me for speeding. Man, if I got a
ticket for speeding on a bike I think I would have to frame it and
hang it on the wall :-)
I will have photos from ToPA 2006 on the web for everyone to check
out later this weekend.
Well I feel I will have to take at least 1 day off the bike this
weekend.
By the way. I will be riding the American Cancer Society Bike-a-Thon
on Sunday. If anyone in the club who is not able to ride the event
themselves would like to sponsor me please email me directly at:
