Mike
Dont forget to add me. It sounds like you may have your five already; you,
me, Dom, Deb, & Ira. I have a thought so as not to close out the ride
because of the train issue. Basically Im sure many more will want to go.
Anyway I could take a sub group to the 30th Street Station while you do the
12 mile Delaware piece. We would take the 9:09 out of 30th Street on the R7
to Trenton instead of the R3 so as not to bump your Delaware group from the
train. It is only 6 miles from the R7 Trenton station to the R3 Yardley
station using the Calhoun Street Bridge to cross the Delaware River. The
Trenton train would drop us off at 9:54 giving us half an hour to meet up
with you. The area in Trenton immediately around the station is a little
seedy so well be pedaling fast but should be fine as it opens up quickly.
Also Im very familiar with the local eateries on the E Route between
Tacony & Port Richmond. The demolition project Im running is in the
Bridesburg section along the river so I head out that way every day for a
sandwich. I suspect we should hit this area right around 1:00. Anyway its
your ride but I thought this option would help as Im sure many others would
like to join us and there is also the potential for no calls arriving at the
Tinicum lot for the 7:00 start. What do you think?
