[DVBC] Philly Pro Race

If you haven't seen the race in person, or would like to see some shots from
the race anyway, I posted few new pics in the New DVBC Photo Gallery in the
Album: 2006 Philadelphia Pro Cycling.  I got at least two good pictures
there, check it out.

    I stayed home and watched the greatly reduced coverage on Channel 6. My
impression was that it is not the same race as in past years. Announcers
said these were "the greatest cyclists in the world" but I'll bet that if
you looked at the Top 20 rankings not one was in Philly this weekend. I also
notice that the cash prizes are way down. 

    However, I imagine that most of the people who came out wouldn't
know--and don't care about--the differences between these riders and the
actual top European racers. 

    Does anybody know anything about this guy from West Chester who
distinguished himself today?

    I tip my cap to Commerce Bank for saving the race with its sponsorship.
