Bob Martin told me this last winter, the new U.D. Chief of Police is an
avid bicyclist and has his bicycle worked on at Franks shop.  I
certainly hope he was not seriously hurt.

 Did you all see the two bike related articles in the D.T. today?

An illegal non-helmet wearing MTB rider in Ridley Creek State Park was
critically injured crashing into a tree and the Police Superintendant of
Upper Darby was the victim of another hit-and-run while on his bike.
Chief
Chittwood made a glowing endorsement of helmet wearing in the article.

I think the U.D. Top Cop deserves a DVBC Jersey!

Could be a nice photo-op for the club.
