[DVBC] Garvin GPS question

Dear DVBC-ers:
Anyone out there have one of the new Garvin Edge 205 or 305 GPS devices?  I hear the satellite link is 
now much more reliable with tree cover on roads: true?   Am also interested to hear from club members 
how well the other functions work, especially the altitude/total climbing function, the ability to track a 
current ride against a previous one, etc.  

The Garvins seem to get the best reviews out their in Net-land, and are now supposed to work with 
Macs as well, which is nice; I hear they got the bugs out on the Garvin version for all the Mac-
wannabees out there, then, once it was perfected, released the version for the real thing   :-) .  

If others have rival GPS's that they really like for biking, I'd like to hear about these via the list-serv too.
