[DVBC] First aid training

I haven't been on any rides yet with DVBC, so please excuse my
ignorance if this is a naive question:
Does DVBC require ride participants to sign a waiver at the start of
each club ride? I know that WCBC does this. Wouldn't that take care
of the liability question?
