Ed,
You should have called this morning to get a weather update. 6 people
arrived for the ride, there was no rain, a little chilly but very
comfortable. All 6 riders made it to the top although it is a very
difficult climb. Sorry we missed you; it would have been even more fun
had you been there with camera attached.
By the way, all of today's rider's had triples.
Doug

I really wanted to see it (the Eichele Hill) for myself and was planning
to
go on Doug's ride but the weather is not looking very appealing to me
today
(drizzle and wind). I guess I will do a different ride from home later
on.
Instead I decided to do the Eichele Rd ride tomorrow on Sunday 10/8. I
plotted a course from my home to the Eichele and the ride will be about
45
miles long each way. Unfortunately the course bypasses Doug's house. If
anybody would be interested to join me, please send me en email, I will
send
you directions to my home. The starting time is negotiable (7-9 am).
Edward

Frank,
If the weather cooperates enough for a ride, we will ride, if it rains
enough to cancel the ride, we will drive to the Velodrome. As I see it,
it is the best of both worlds. Breakfast will be served at 7:00am
regardless.

Hopefully not but if it's raining when I wake up I'll be cancelling out
for
the ride (sorry gang). I'm not much of a rain rider (unless of course if
I
get caught in it). Probably play chess in West Chester instead. I doubt
much
will be happening at the Velodrome if tomorrow is anything like today.
Anyone been there on a rainy day? A few dealers under tents? Maybe I
should
swing by and score some rain gear (I only have a top). Anyway is
breakfast
still on?
Frank
