Thanks to all of you who helped identify the individuals in the photos.
I worked closely with Chris Harendza in 1999 but only via email. I met him
but once and, therefore, was unable to identify him in the photo. I did,
however, recognize half of Ira Josephs' head. I would know that half head
anywhere. Chris and Ira, along with many others us more recent members
aren't aware of, worked hard at making the DVBC the top club in the Delaware
Valley years before we came along.

It sounds like tomorrow's Salem Oak ride will be well attended. Why not
join us for what shapes up to be a sunny day? Here are the driving
directions:

Cross the Commodore Barry Bridge on 322 east.

Take 295 south and, as you approach Rte. 40, look for either 49
south/east or 551 south but make sure you don't go over the bridge into DE.

If you get on 551 south, that merges with 49 south/east. In any event,
follow 49 into Salem. In town the Salem Oak Diner will be on your right,
across from the cemetary and the great Salem Oak. Park on the left side of
the street, across from the diner.

    See you inside over breakfast.
