Sunday October 29th IN BRIDGETON
Beacon Cycling and Cape Racing, LLC present "The Beacon Cyclo-Cross
Event".The location is Bridgeton, New Jersey. Admission and parking are
free. Parking is available at the Bridgeton Zoo. Cyclo- Cross racing
offers
the spectator a great view of all the action. Dubbed "The Amphitheater
Of
Pain" both amateur and Pro racers from North America participate. Unlike
a
road race where you might see racers once every fifteen or twenty
minutes,
in Cyclo-Cross with a compact but very technical course, you see racers
more
often. The typical race in Cyclo-Cross takes 40 minutes. The first race
goes
off at 10A.M., the final race at 2:30 p.m. featuring the Men's Elite.
All
racing ends before 3:30 p.m. If this racing gives you an appetite- no
problem. The Red Sky Cafe will be serving up their fabulous Tex-Mex
cuisine.Check out the following -
