[DVBC] Doc's ride report 10/25/06

Mike B.,Charles S. and Doc converved at 320 Market for Doc's birthday 
ride (actually 2 days late). Randy W. chose to do the simultaneous 
Cabooser's ride and Mel S. was recovering from his pre-ski season 
preparations.
After the usual Dave C. chat we were off in the bright chill for Valley 
Forge via Doc's special route through Manayunk/Roxborough/East Falls to 
include sufficient hills and traffic to keep Charles on his toes. 
Actually traffic was very light on the way out and the VF Trail was 
almost entirely deserted into the headwind.
At the 34 mile point ( 1/2 the birthday miles/years) we headed back to 
Manayunk for Bella Trattoria and tomato pie indoors.
The return was maxed- out traffic, side and tail winds but otherwise 
without incident- 68 miles-Happy Birthday to Me.
