Misty and others have encouraged me to put the word out about my new book, 
so pardon the following blatant self-promotion. The title is "A Guide to the 
Great Gardens of the Philadelphia Region," and it was just published last 
month by Temple University Press. The best place to learn more about the 
book is a website that we've created for it: www.phillygardenguide.com. The 
Amazon link at that site is also the best and cheapest way to buy the book 
(last I checked they were selling it for $14.93, the cover price is $21.95). 
  If you order over $25 from Amazon (two of the guidebooks would do it), the 
shipping is free! The book would make a great gift for anyone for any reason 
-- for mother's day, father's day, birthdays, Christmas or Hannukkah (but 
don't wait that long to buy it).  I'd be glad to sign any copies that 
anybody buys for anyone at anytime.
