If you go to www.performancebike.com, or campmor.com, you can find plenty
of fine quality sunglasses for the price range Dave quoted. (less than 50
bucks) Campmor is cheaper and has a wider selection of closeouts than
Performance. Many times they have last years models reduced by more than
half price. Such brands as Bolle, Smith, Carrera, etc. You can even get
adequate shades getting the house brands. They don't have as much sex
appeal but they work fine.
Many models come with replacible lenses-green or grey for sun, and amber
and light red for low light conditions.
I ride slow rides on the road on a mountain bike a lot with a friend and
if you want I'd be glad to ride with you (at least once). Don't hold your
breath waiting for Cycle Sport to deliver your bike. They assume you have
another bike to ride while you're waiting.
