Yo! DVBC -- are you guys forgetting about that monster -- Knowlton. It is a bit short at 3/4 miles but with enough steepness -- about 7% -- it makes your knees scream on the repeat climb. Don't forget the Sweetwater Rd. which is just about 1 1/4 miles long with a climb that has two sections. Try Sweetwater Rd. on a classic 60 year old 3 speed bike and wear your khakis like our guy Steve Bertinelli.
Gladwynne has perfect long climbs through Rose Glen Road or the return climb from River Road up to Montgomery Ave. I still can't believe how I used to do it on a 28 lb. bike (old 12 speed) in 42x23 (saving the 26 cog for emergencies). The Main Line CLub and BCP both have hill training rides through Gladwynne with posted cue sheets in the BCP Ride Library.
