[DVBC] Bike 2 Work

Drew (or whoever is doing the website these days),
I noticed a typo on the front page about B2W Week, in 'volunteer'.
Also the Bike to Work Day in Media has been changed to Thurs. May 17 due
to some important meetings that just came up for the folks from the TMA.
I think it would be better if the event in Media could be highlighted more
than Bike to Work Week. That is where we would really like people to show
up.

And, this question for the board and pres. but related to the website. I
have been wondering for a while now if any of the local bike shops have
specific policies about giving discounts to our club members. This would
be something to promote in our NL and on our website as a way to encourage
membership and patronage of the local shops.
(Dom, you don't have to thank me for such a great idea, and, no, I'm not
volunteering to get that info from the shops.)

I've also wanted to know if the gift certificates the club gives out to
ride leaders during the banquet are purchased by the club or donated by
the shops. (I certainly wouldn't ask for a discount on top of a donated
certificate).
