[DVBC] AHCS Ride Report

Today's AHCS participants were Adam, Juror #6, Eric Zwicky and his son, 
Evan, Dan, and yours truly.  We headed towards Cemetery and Neumann 
hills for a few warm-ups, and then on to Red Hill and the ominous 
Convent Rd.  Eric and Evan looked good on Red Hill.  Watch out for Evan, 
he's going to be a great rider.  He made the climbs look easy.  Dan and 
Juror #6 were going head to head to see who would be King of Convent 
Rd.  I'd say it was a tie, they both did it 3X's although #6 failed to 
ride Red Hill.  Dan did do that hill 2 or 3 times so maybe he does have 
the edge.  Adam did fine on that yellow Colonago of his on both Red Hill 
and Convent and he didn't fall off once!  I must say though, that I 
think that ride needs a tune-up and a clean-up.  Such a pretty bike 
needs tender loving care.  For me, Convent Rd was harder to ride in my 
head than in reality.  Adam treated us all to Rita's after the ride, 
which was well deserved.
