[DVBC] C+ rider/Hawk Mtn.

After riding Hawk Mtn century I have to agree with Dave; even without head wind, I would not recommend it for the C or C+ riders; sorry Doug.  
You might try a shorter distance however, or even park your car at the bottom and try to ride to the top of Hawk Mtn at elevation 1,333 ft (also on the other side if you wish), like some people have done.  You start from elevation about 350 ft, so it is a 2 mile climb of approximately 1000 ft; one side is much tougher then the other if you do both sides.
