[DVBC] Northbrook today

Gina and I had a routine ride to Northbrook and back today.  We saw Dan, Misty and Cheryl coming back from there at the soccerfields.  I never saw so many bikers at Northbrook before.  There was a White Clay ride there and we saw our friends Wally, Barrie, Darrie,Ed Williams, and many others.  Brandywine Bike Club also had a ride there and we saw Fran Demillion and Walt Linton.  We learned from Fran that you can lead rides from there if you call first and ask permission.  They have loads of parking space in the back.
We made our day complete with a Mad Russian sighting on Creek Road in Glen Mills.  As he passed Gina, he said "thanks" instead of the usual "On your left...I'm time trialing".  I realized he probably was thankful that Gina was wearing her bike shorts with the hole in the seam at the back of her left thigh.  After all the years we've been passed by him, I'm sure he knows us.
