Subject: [DVBC] About the Brandywine Tour

Dearest fellow members (You can tell I want something, can't you?):

Our Brandywine Tour will take place on Sunday, September 2. The
Bonkers
Metric was a warmup and you guys did great. But this one earns us more
money
(if it doesn't rain) and requires even more person-power.
So I'll get right to the point: We need volunteers in profusion. We
need
parking lot attendants, registrars, stevedors, food servers, SAG
drivers,
and caring, smiling people to show the public our best face. We already
have
scenic, rolling routes as discovered by our routes coordinator Drew. But

next we need YOU!
So please contact me either on the list serve or at
bonkersboy at verizon.net to get your name on the list. If you come into
the
fold early you even get to request the job you would like.
However, you won't be the first. Way back on May 21 Rich Andreas
sent in
this email after the Bonkers Metric:
"Thanks to all the volunteers that baked, marked, sagged, manned
stations
....... We love this club. Is it too early to sign up to volunteer for
Brandywine??"
No, Rich, it was not too early. You are on the list. We love it when
new
club members step up to volunteer.

P.S. Walt Linton was the second.
