[DVBC] Ride report from the Outer Limits

I would like to add that we accomplished our mission. There was one stretch of tar and chip but it wasn't that bad. We noted a bad pothole on the bridge on Homeville Road over the Octorara just befor Bell Road. We will need to warn the riders with paint because it is at the bottom of a long, scenic hill that the riders will want to ride up to 40 mph on.

We finished the day with exactly 65 miles as promised. We broke up our ride with a flat tire, at a cemetary just before lunch. It was mine. I, of course noted that we should never take anything for granite, and that our grave situation was monumental. After lunch we were taken on a fascinating tour of the blacksmith shop run by our very friendly host at the Noble Road and 896 water stop. We are psyched for the tour.

Bob LaDrew, Gina and the D'Stre joined me on the backroads of the OL today. Good company, beautiful weather, and riding the rolling hills of western Chester and eastern Lancaster Counties -- there's no better way to spend the day. And you wonder why the public is infatuated with the rich and vacuous when they could be sharing real wealth.

Ambrosine, Gina wants you to record a Fashion Style point she awarded to Bob for today's subtle but effective ensemble. Gina noticed that Bpb's socks just happened to exactly match the lime green sleeves of his Woody jersey and wondered what were the chances of him just reaching into his sock drawer and finding such a match. And sure enough the items were just acquired at Shirk's. Jeez, and without coaching. That made futile all that work that D'Stre and I went to of braiding our back hair, donning eye patches, and finding Diamonique 100-facet stud earrings.
