Dave Hartrum, Nancy, Maureen and I rode the Covered Bridge ride together

today.  It was a lot of fun and the route was beautiful although we were

rained on pretty much the entire second half of the ride.  I will say 
though, that the food at the food stops wasn't any where near as good as

our stuff on the Bonkers and Brandywine.  And, I only saw one SAG driver

all day and he was making out with a woman in the front seat!  All six 
covered bridges were much safer than the death trap one on the 
Brandywine.  Quite a few Amish kids were out front of their houses 
waving to us.  Dave was a little embarrassed when two women on a tandem 
passed him on a tough hill.  I met them later and asked if they 
remembered seeing a guy in a jersey like mine (DVBC) and they said 
"yeah, we keep passing him all the time".  I do think though that Dave 
is becoming a ladies man, seems like he's been riding with them a lot 
lately.  We saw Peter Schmidt at the start of the ride and we also saw 
Mike (last name?) from out where Bob LaDrew lives who does our tours.  
All in all a fun day at a pretty good pace but I'm glad I'm home, fed 
and showered.
