[DVBC] Did anyone ride?

Dave,

I'm with you. Call me a weenie , but all the egging on is fun until someone
slides on some ice and snaps their collar bone. Lying around on the frozen
asphalt waiting for the ambulance to come sounds like fun too.

I used to equate below freezing riding with skiing, only when you fall
there's no soft snow and I don't remember seeing cars on the slopes.

This is the time for cross training and allowing some recovery of those bike
specific muscles and joints to time to heal. I think hiking in the woods is
great in this cold weather.

I've managed to tone down my own neurosis about incessant riding. For those
of you who can't (Edward) please be careful out there.
