[DVBC] Total ride miles in 2007

Attention All Ride Leaders!! (yes, I'll remember to print a copy of this message and mail it to Bob Martin)

I've always been curious about the total number of miles ridden each year on our club rides.  To that end, I'd like to assign myself a special project for 2007 - tracking the total miles and number of participants for all rides posted on our ride calendar.

Ride Leaders can either send an email message directly to domzdvbc at att.net or leave a voice mail message on my home phone with your totals.  Or I can send you a message and you can type the stats in your reply.

Maybe we could have a bonus prize at the 2007 club banquet?  The member who guesses closest to but not over the total number of miles traveled by all riders receives a special prize.

What do you think?  Can/should I do it?  Let me know.  Thanks!!
