[DVBC] Total ride miles in 2007

I think "squander" might not be the correct term here.  I tend to think that they "funnel" our tax dollars...to themselves, their "major contributors" and their cronies.

I'm not cynical!  I just read too much and don't watch enough TV!! :)

Need I remind you our elected officials are completely inept and they don’t give a d*m about helping their constituents!!!  They certainly don’t rely upon facts when they make decisions about how to squander our tax dollars!!!  All decisions are based upon emotions and never involve facts.

I know.  I got a little lazy after the BW tour and didn't keep as close a track of my miles as usual.
 
But it may be useful for advocacy use.  The Bike Coalition has been helping us with the Bicyclists' Baltimore Pike and other bike/ped projects, so the info might help convince our policitos that X amount of people rode X amount of miles in Delco and so these projects are useful and needed.

I personally don't need to know this information.  What does it really matter?  Say our club has 100 active cycling members and the average mileage is 3k that would equal 30k miles. What does that information give us?   If the majority like the idea, I will try to comply.
