[DVBC] Total ride miles in 2007

No one is going to validate or argue our mileage "facts." Just multiply the
number of members times some mileage, like Len's suggestion of 3000.
Otherwise, you could be going down a rabbit hole: on which roads?, at what
times?, etc. etc. Not to mention the added overhead of this project.
To Doug's point, it's hard to believe that it would make any difference in
terms of advocacy or legislation if we submitted a number of 450,000 miles
from a 30-second calculation or twice that number from dozens of hours of
scrupulously maintaining mileage logs.
Personally, even though I plan to continue teasing Doug as much as possible,
he's on the right track spending off-bike time planning new rides rather
than tracking old ones, although I did hear some obsessive numbers on
elevation gain on ToPA.
