[DVBC] New law proposed in NJ

Can you imagine if these misguided law makers really looked at cyclist's
behavior? I wonder if we would be able to drink water while riding,
certainly eating would be out of the question, taking videos and
pictures would be punishable by incarceration and a fine. Maybe
bicycling in general would be considered too dangerous.

Vote The Bums Out! Maybe as taxpayers we should require IQ Tests for
all elected officials..

Since I work for a company that makes cell phones and our Mobile Device
earnings were not good this quarter I would personally like to see
everybody own 2 phones, one for each ear (it's call multi-tasking) and
be using them constantly.

You're right Doug another useless law that they don't have the manpower
to enforce.

What's next? No passing gas or shooting snot rockets on a bike either
!!!!

I was listening to KYW radio today and heard the state of New Jersey is
considering passing a new law geared to protect us against ourselves.
The Legislature is considering a law to outlaw talking on a cellular
phone while riding a bicycle. This goes back to what I said to Dom last
week; our lawmaker's base their decision making upon emotion and not
upon facts. I hope this law passes, I will feel a lot safer as I ride
my bicycle around NJ. :-)
