[DVBC] Physics ques. continued

    Judy and I have friends who used to live in Minnesota. They say that 
when it would get real cold out (something like 30 below) they used to enjoy 
taking a pot of water, throwing it out the back door, and watching it freeze 
solid before it hit the ground. But they say that only worked if you got the 
water to a full rolling boil, then ran to the back door with it while it was 
still hot.
    Doesn't this have something to do with my water bottle freezing, but not 
Bill's?
