i used to live with a hillbilly lady from east tennessee who believed 
that the moon landing was staged, and that every time they sent the 
space shuttle up it caused rain in richmond.   she thought professional 
"wrasslin'" was real, and that "the dukes of hazard" was based on actual 
historical figures.

she also believed that hot water froze faster than cold.     she would 
fill the ice cube trays (remember those?) with hot water so the ice 
cubes would be ready sooner.
