Subject: new century ride and festival
In the June NL, there is info for a new metric century in Lancaster Cty on July 15. I discovered that it is part of the 3 day Great Green America Festival where they have the PA Renaissance Faire. It sounds like a blast with some excellent music. I'm planning to go if anyone wants to carpool.

btw, there were 14 riders on my 6/30 CU at Selene Ride. We managed to stay together despite the fact of having one slower rider who was still maintaining a decent C pace. I either rode back with the slower rider (just as I explained to everyone at the start that that might happen) or rode midway between the main group and slower rider to prevent losing sight of anyone.
On my May ride, there were 12 riders and we averaged over 14, well above the advertised speed, but that was only after the consensus of all the riders and continual monitoring to make sure no one was knocking themselves out.
