Bike Week Commuter Race Proves Biking is Better!

Biking wins again! Our bicyclist, Fuji's Mark Smith, had the fastest
time in our Bike Week commuter race between a sports car, SEPTA rider
and bicyclist.

We're looking for a few good (hearted) bicyclists. I need you to
volunteer for one of our upcoming events!

Gather your family and friends to bike the amazing Freedom Valley --
from the Philadelphia Museum of Art to Valley Forge and beyond.

 

This Sunday, enjoy this non-competitive tour with loops from 8 to 62
miles. All ages and skill levels are welcome.

 

Registration opens at 7:00 am. We accept checks (made out to "BCGP"),
all major credit cards and cash. Day of registration is $45 (or $60 for
registration and Bicycle Coalition membership).

 

There is no parking in the Lloyd Hall lot. Please see our web page

A family-friendly bike tour celebrating the freedom of car-free
Philadelphia streets, bicyclists will ride through historic
neighborhoods, take over the Parkway, passing through Old City and
exploring hidden corners of Fairmount Park on Sunday, September 9th.

 

Early Bird Registration at $35 is available through June 30th online

Distances of 10, 20, 35 and 50 miles will please all riders. The 10 mile
route is hill-free and is appropriate for all ages and all skill levels.
Streets are closed to cars for the first 20 miles only.
