So, who do you side with?  Suzie Goleta or the Shumans.

 

Looks to me like Ralph Fertig, President of the Santa Barbara Bicycle
Coalition doesn’t have a clue.  Cyclists don’t own the road and should stay
to the right as much as possible.  This is a problem and becoming more
dangerous as more people take up cycling.  On almost every club ride I
participant there’s always some jackass(s) in the group who want to ride in
the middle of the road.  A prime example was last Saturdays Buena ride where
I just got frustrated calling CAR BACK and being ignored.  Also, on Sunday,
Bonnie and I did the short version of the ride and lead three others back.
We wanted to ride a little faster, so I gave them directions back and we
went our way.  I look back several times and noticed them riding three
abreast with a car directly behind.  It seems cyclist want to BS and
completely ignore the danger they are putting themselves in and the cars
that have to contend with them.
