                  2007 KIDSPEACE BICYCLE RACING LEAGUE

                  REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!



                  The Lehigh Valley Velodrome is kicking off its exciting 
2007 season with open registration for the BRL program. Become apart of this 
premier cycling venue and experience all the world-class benefits right in 
your own backyard! The LVV is currently updating its website; however, the 
BRL homepage is now live and ready for registration!



                  Sign up now to join Olympians Marty Nothstein and Erin 
Hartwell along with professional cyclist and sports scientist Ray Ignosh for 
the 2007 KidsPeace Bicycle Racing League (BRLT) program open to all youth, 
ages 9-18.



                  The KidsPeace BRL is a Lehigh Valley Velodrome community 
cycling program aiming to identify and develop tomorrow's champions today. 
The professional coaching staff educates youth participants in the sport of 
bicycle racing, while enhancing self-esteem, forging a sense of 
accomplishment and promoting a healthy lifestyle; all in a highly structured 
and competitive program.



                  Starting April 30th, riders are lead through a 6-week, 
structured program from "start to finish" by USA Cycling (USAC) certified 
coaches. Equipment (bikes and helmets) is available free-of-charge. Riders 
need only come ready and willing to give it a go!



                  If you've never raced before or taken a class with the 
LVV, you will need to complete an introductory clinic, two (2) weeks prior 
to the start of the season - at no additional charge.



                  Athletes train in teams each week, after school, for 2 
hours per session. After a few practices, the real racing starts. Each team 
breaks down into USAC age-group categories for boys & girls (9-12, 13-14, 
15-16 and 17-18) and races in head-to-head, tri- or quad-meet format. 
Athletes buzz around the track like fireflies!



                  At the conclusion of the program, athletes will vie for 
status as BRL Champion at the KidsPeace BRL Finals during the LVV 
Professional Racing Series (PRST) event Fastest Man on Wheels (22 June 
2007), where team and individual championship trophies and winner's jerseys 
are awarded. Admission to the event is free for all BRL participants and 
their families. The best and brightest from each team will race 
elbow-to-elbow under the lights on Friday night!
