Due to heavy rains and melting snow/ice over night, sections of the Perkiomen Trail, Lower Wissahickon Green Ribbon Trail and Schuylkill River Trail, will be closed through today and into the weekend. Before anyone ventures out on the Perkiomen Trail, they should call the appropriate park office to see what areas may be open/closed. See below. 
CLOSED: Perkiomen Trail (lower section)-from the Oaks Bridge, north through LPVP, to Lower Indianhead Road
CLOSED: Perkiomen Trail (central section)-from RT 29 at 9th Ave., north through Rahns, AND from Gratergord Bridge north to CPVP, also where the trail crosses Park Ave. in Schwenksville (Park Ave. closed) 
CLOSED: Lower Wisahickon Green Ribbon Trail in Whitemarsh Township-from Stenton Avenue to West Valley Green/Cricket Club Road Intersection, AND from West Valley Green Road at green bridge, north to FT Washington SP. 
CLOSED: Schuylkill River Trail in Pottstown, from College Drive to the end of Keystone Blvd.
