[DVBC] Iron Hill Twilight Criterium Volunteers

Hello All

West Chester Cycling Club is inviting members of your bike club to participate in Iron Hill Twilight Criterium.

The 2007 Iron Hill Twilight Criterium will take place in West Chester in two months from today on Saturday, July 7, 2007.  This year the IHTC will be part of a 10 race point series called USACrits which makes us part of a National race series instead of just being a local race.  You can see more information on the USACrits series by going to www.usacrits.com  The benefits of this is that we will be promoted nationally and we should get a higher level of pro rider participation.   As you will see on the usacrits webpage some of the other cities in the series include Austin, TX, Charlotte, NC, Athens, GA and Boise, ID with the finals to be in Las Vegas, NV in September.  

We need you to help us as volunteers race marshals.  If you would like to volunteer, please go to: http://www.easternpaskicouncil.org/WCCC/VolunteerForm.htm  and fill out the IHTC On-Line Volunteer form.  If you have any friends, neighbors, cycling buddies or relatives over 18 that would like to participate please have them do so as well.

There will a Volunteer meeting near the end of June for additional training.  Date to be determined.

This is a great way to contribute to a community event, participate in an inter-club activity and promote cycling in our area.
