[DVBC] Doc's ride report 5/9/07

Well, not terribly serious.... but I do enjoy it.  I do it mostly to help
keep myself in shape, and to see if I can improve on my own times.  I tend
to be a pretty middle-of-the-pack finisher.  This is just my second season
at tri's, so there's still lots of room for improvement!  I will probably do
5 or 6 races this summer, a combination of Sprint (short distance) and
Olympic distance (1.5 K swim, 40 K bike, 10 K run) events.  I'm not up for
any longer races at this point, but may think about trying to tackle a
half-ironman next summer.  There are some good web-sites out there with
basic, free training plans that I would be glad to point you to.

Jenny sounds like a serious triathlete. Does she have any Triathlons planned
for this season. I would be interested to talk training plans with her, or
any other club members who are also triathletes.
