    What a club! 
    Fifteen members and one non-member came out bright and early (well, okay, Deb was a little late and Larry was quite late) this morning to accept the Bonkers arrow-painting challenge.
    With a complete lack of organization being provided by their leader, the participants organized themselves into groups and pedaled off to conquer the various Bonkers routes. I can tell you from personal observation that they did their job thoroughly and with tender loving care. The elements were cooperative, morale was high and the job is finished. 
    Special thanks go out to Penny Wilczurski, who is a recent club member, and non-member Bill Pashinski who subjected himself to enslavement at the hands of his Gabel Road neighbor.
    Frank Jackson qualified for the Guinness Book of World Records by painting arrows that measured over 73 feet from tip to tip. 
    It goes without saying that Ed Sobolewski recorded another century. How many is that this year already, Edward? Nancy Schwarz, in the throes of agonizing calf cramps, swore that she would never again accept an assignment that entails following Edward's wheel for 66 miles. 
    Upon arriving, Woody Kotch expressed bewilderment at his inability to predict whether people would want to paint from cars or bikes. Finally, he understands that we all paint from bikes in months that have two full moons. 
    Gina Bezdziecki's innate familiarity with a route she helped fashion over the years was invaluable. 
    Aside from the above mention, the club's deepest gratitude goes out to painters Tammie Calabrese, Jo Ann Fahey, Clarence Shoch, Mel Stiles, Mike Broennle, and Jim Irwin.
