Only 3 cyclists out for Art Museum loop.Bob Martin,Dan and silent John..............
We decided that if two more showed we would do the ride.Well, no one else came............so we did short ride and had breakfast(Dan &Bob).A few drops were falling so we just went our separate ways and did private rides near home.If anyone is off Wed. we may do a Northbrook ride....

Some of us (Greens and Kotchs) were at Stargazer Vineyards (Off Laurel
Road on the Brandywine Route) for Dornfelder Day to celebrate their
annual "nouveau" wine.
Doc also managed a 17.5 mile local loop before the Stargazer trip.

> Yesterday, a SMALL (where were you all?) group consisting of Bob LaDrew, Lewis, Nancy and Sydney left Bob's house for a nice 50 mile ride. It was in the 30's, but after a few hills, not too chilly. We saw lots of horses, mules, goats, sheep, dogs and a whole field of free range chickens. And let's not forget all the deer fenced in that field. We rode through the Octorara Watershed. It was the first time I had been that way and it was really beautiful. We also stopped at the site of the 1911 lynching of Zachariah Walker, and had a quick history lesson. And let's not forget Bob getting chased off someone's property while trying to commune with nature! All and all a very nice ride, with hot chocolate and mini-marshmallows at the end.
