Ira,

I am taking 2 DVBC tables and both of the DVBC sun shades. All DVBC members are welcome to join Nancy and Me at the Velodrome with anything they would like to sell. All "stuff" needs to be marked with the price and name of the owner to help track the booty. I would like to have as much help as possible with transporting and setting up of all the "stuff", so bring your "stuff" to Lansdale Saturday Oct 13th. Setup starts at 0700 so we need to leave Lansdale at 0600 for the velodrome.

>DougI won't have time to help with the cleanup, but I had offered to help out at the table, thinking I could bring stuff of my own to sell, and if there were several of us, everyone could take time to look around as well as sit at the table. I know they only allow 2 people in per table and I wouldn't mind paying admission, but I wonder if they would let me in with my tandem and miscellaneous sellables. Of course this would all be contingent with me not having to work (a pretty good chance I won't have to) and transporting my tandem there (I am having trouble with my van.) The other thing is, maybe you could sell some of the stuff by listing it on our listserve. I have a 5'7" friend looking for a decent road bike wanting to spend up to $500.Ira    ----- Original Message ----- From: Doug Bower To: DVBC Sent: Saturday, September 29, 2007 9:04 PM Subject: [DVBC] Velodrome

>Unfortunately this equipment has been sitting in Bob’s basement for the last few years and needs some cleaning before it can be sold.  Normally it wouldn’t be a problem for me to take care of this over the next few weeks but I am out of town on business except for Friday, Saturday and Sunday October 5th, 6th, and 7th.  I don’t think I can get it all presentable, tagged and appraised by the 13th by myself.  So I am asking every able bodied DVBC member to help.  I need volunteers to come to my house over the weekend of October 6-7th and help me clean, appraise, and tag this stuff so It will be presentable and hopefully sell at the swap meet.  I will provide cleaning supplies, rags, food and beverages for everyone that comes.
