After cleaning up the parts with orange cleaner, I soak them overnight in
mineral spirits. The mineral spirits dissovle the grime that seeps into
the little places that cleaners, brushes, and rags miss. Mineral spirits
evaporate quickly and make an old worn part look spanking new. An old
friend passed the tip to me twelve years ago.

Doug,

Are we still on for a cleanup party on Sunday? If so, then what time? If
not Sunday, then when? I cannot make the Swap meet because I'll be sagging
the Savage that day.

Besides helping the cause and Cassie, I want to learn other peoples tricks
for cleaning bikes.
