Hey, Adam, good to hear you're still out there riding.

See if you can find the bike map on the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Phila. website.  You might find some roads that have been marked good or fair that get you most of the way to your destination.

And touch base with Deb C and ask for a copy of her cue sheet for the Bonkers Picnic ride.  That will get you to Bob Ladrew's neck of the woods via fairly nice roads.

I'm thinking of riding one-way to a family gathering on Sunday, leaving Media and ending up in Birdsboro, PA. I went onto Google maps but the problem is the possibilities are many and I'm not familiar with the roads out there. I'd like to avoid the busiest roads, and of course, while I don't mind hills, I would like to avoid the absolute worst of them if possible.
 
Does anyone (I was thinking in particular of Bonkers Boy) have any suggestions, even if only roads to avoid?  Would following the route to the DVBC picnic notbe too far out of my way? Feel free to call me if that's easier.
