I'm in too Doug and it's good that we've got all winter to get the
tractor set up. Those hours Bob won't be spending cutting grass can be
spent on the bike. Guess he needs to get started on some routes out by
the new homestead. If he will be living in Nottingham he won't be that
far from White Clay State Park. Maybe he could do a mtn bike ride
there--I've always wanted to check that out.

Subject: [DVBC] Bob's new Digs
I am so happy with the overwhelming response to the lawnmower
idea for Bob Martin; I need to say again "this is another reason I love
this bicycle club"!!!
I talked to Bob last week about his need for a lawnmower, and I
offered to give him my old mower. He was thankful for the offer but was
concerned about the repair. That's when I decided I needed to give it
to him in working condition. I have searched on-line for a rebuilt
engine and I also stopped at a John Deer dealer to price a replacement.
I found the cost of a replacement engine to be more then the tractor is
worth, so I called my brother-in-law in Georgia. My brother-in-law
Gene, is a John Deer repair technician and has a replacement engine he
is willing to sell to me at a reasonable cost, although he insists on
installing it as a favor to me.... We now have all winter long to
replace the engine and get the tractor to Bob.
