I wondered if Peter was a little tipsy when he wrote his last E-mail but
was willing to give him the benefit of doubt.  I hope he is feeling no
pain and it appears as if he isn't....

Sorry to hear of your accident.  Sounds like you are well into your 
recovery. You might want to as your "Bad" just how much of that pain 
medication he's been slipping you.

Dear DVBC-ers:

I must write to apologize for today's (Saturday's) weather.  I'm a hunch
that the Bad part of me, when the Good part wasn't watching, prayed to
the
weather gods to make it not a nice sunny fall riding day today.   My Bad
was probably not happy thinking others would be other there in the
autumn
breezes while I have to stay in and prick myself with blood-thinners and
do toe rotations and knee bends and say that's my "exercise" for the
day.
 But Mother Nature has definitely gone a little over the top today in
terms of the requested rain and wind.  I would speak to my Bad but he
doesn't listen to a word I say.  Perhaps his weather-spell doesn't apply
to tomorrow.

Thanks for all the notes of support from everyone; they've meant a lot
to
me.  Yep, I'm making slow and steady progress, like Aesop's tortoise,
with
an eye on a certain banquet in December.
