[DVBC] Ride home from work

All I can say is it's new give it time to degrade.
Also the cable shared pipe versus dedicated fiber argument is a myth.
The whole internet is a shared environment with bandwidth bottle  
necks all over the place from transport gear to the servers with the  
content.
Bottom line is they can both work fine.  It mostly comes down to how  
well your local branch is managing and maintaining their network.
Try one if not happy switch to another until you find one that works  
well at your location.
Here at my home Comcast is very reliable and fast.
