[DVBC] rtp wed night

Could've been. Kansas is really flat. And there's a lot of red meat on
the menus out there. Did I say that it's really flat out there?

Well I'm back home and I'm glad to see all the ride reports from
Wednesday. Paul called me at 4:30 Kansas time explaining he had a flat
tire on his car and wouldn't make the ride on time. I was thinking,
4:30 he's got time and later realized it was 5:30 in Media. I did call
Dom Zuppo and Dan Dillon but neither were riding. Later I spoke to Paul
and he said he had spoken with Len from the B riders who would relay the
message that he'd meet everyone in RCSP. I'm happy to hear things
worked out and you had a good time. I agree that Old Gradyville is
still a bear. Maybe we'll have to work on that for next year. What
about riding it twice in one ride--we could go up it on the way out and
then redo it on the way back to RTP? We would definitely get stronger!

See you on Wednesday!
Debbie

Deb in Kansas? Was that her I saw in a head to toe black dress,
riding a beater, with a dog in a basket?

to fill in the names of the riders from the wed night
"C+++" ride, in addition to Eric and Jake, there was Steve F, John
(high top) S, Tony F and fill-in ride leader Paul Desanto. Paul was a
no show at the begining of the ride and after some cell phone calls that
bounced between Pa and Kansas ( where our true leader, Deb, has traveled
to),
the ride started without him. Paul swooped in on us at
the bottom of the park trail after changing a flat on his car. After a
quick ride to Cheney, and the sun very low at 6:50, the group attacked
Old Grady in tact and without O.G. patron saint Dan Dillon to lead us.
super dark ride up to rosetree, spells the almost end of the RTP rides
for 2007.
