There was a good sized group this morning.  Doug, Nancy, Debbie, Cindy,
Don, Mike, Dom, Jo Ann and Rich.  The pancakes were great, the sausages
were cooked, but as Sven was not with us, all were not eaten.  We set
off and after passing Green Lane (about 12 miles into the ride), it
started raining.  We stopped at a 7-11, where Debbie procured many trash
bags, we were quite the fashion statement.  After trying unsuccessfully
to get a weather forecast we continued on.  Dom and Jo Ann left us at
about mile 25 and headed back.  Rich went ahead towards HM.  The rest of
us stopped at the Hess station in Topton.  The rain showed no sign of
letting up, so the decision was made to return to Lansdale.  The one
good thing about returning, was at Green Lane, we saw a bald eagle
sitting on a log at Knight Lake.  Was amazing!  Our total miles were 68,
about 4200 feet of climbing.  See you all tomorrow.  Nancy
