I made a big mistake. This Annual meeting does not include dinner this
year. The Ethical Society does not allow dinner to be served on their
premises. There will be a desert served after the meeting is over. So
have your dinner before you come and save room for desert. The previous
announcement is corrected below

RE: IMPORTANT EVENT. ALL CYCLISTS INVITED. You do not need to be a
member of the BCGP to attend.
The Annual Meeting of the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia will
be on Sunday April 6th from 7:00pm to 8:30 pm at the Ethical Society, 1906
South Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia.
Free valet bike parking will be provided by Neighborhood Bike Works. You
can combine a good evening bike ride (lights recommended) with attending
this event. Rittenhouse Square is a short walk from Surburban Station.
Our Keynote Speaker will be Congressman Joe Sestak. We would like to see
as many of his constituants as possible at this event. His district, the
7th Congressional District of Pa. comprises most of Delaware County and
parts of Montgomery and Chester Counties where most of the members of DVBC
live and vote. Also on the agenda will be an address by Rina Cutler who
is Philadelphia's Deputy Mayor of Transportation and Utilities. The
Coalition will have a report on our vision of the future 2030.
So please try to attend and show Congressman Sestak that you care about
Cycling in the 7th Congressional District. After a vote of approval, we
expect DVBC's own Dominick Zuppo to be installed as a member of the Board
of Directors of the BCGP. There will be lots of opportunities to show
pride in our bike club and our home region.
So Pretty Please come on out on Sunday,
David Bennett, Chairman of the Delaware County Cycling Committee of the BCGP.
Contact me with any questions at (610)626-1344 dster at craftech.com.
PS/ Thank you Dave Hartrum for your kind words of appreciation.
The Ethical Society is located on the South Side of Rittenhouse Square, 2
blocks South of Walnut Street.
